It begins with milk, but not just any.
It begins with camelid milk.
Their milk contains a special functional protein, only found in camelids. Today, we use precision fermentation to reproduce this protein, but without the camelid.
One of the most unique functional proteins in camelid milk is immunoglobulin g (IgG).
In its full form, this protein contains multiple parts, but in 1993 scientists discovered that only one is responsible for its selective binding abilities.
